Painting software that gets the estimate out before you leave the driveway
Describe the walkthrough and the AI Estimator drafts the estimate at your own rates. The homeowner ticks the shutters and the door, signs from the link and pays the deposit for paint on the same page. Her colors go on her record, and the balance goes out at the final walk with the deposit already off.

The walkthrough went great. The estimate took four days.
You spent an hour walking the house, measured the siding, found the soft fascia board over the garage, and promised a number by Friday. Wednesday night you're still typing it up after a full day on a ladder. Two other painters walked the same house this week, and the first clear estimate with an easy way to say yes has the head start. Then it's 40 gallons of paint on your card before anyone has paid you a dollar, and in two years nobody remembers which white went on the trim.
Estimate from the walkthrough
Describe the house in the driveway. Send the estimate before the next job.
In the mobile app, type or say the job and add up to 10 photos: the siding, the fascia over the garage, the shutters. The AI Estimator drafts the line items at your own rates in under a minute, with a scope that spells out what's included, what it assumed and what's left out, like rotted wood beyond one board. Ask for changes in plain English, then send it as a normal estimate. It doesn't measure walls: the square footage comes from you.
- Wash, scrape and spot-prime
- Siding, 2 coats, 2,200 sq ft
- Lead-safe prep on a pre-1978 home priced in
- Rotted wood beyond one board, excluded
- Owner only: 20 a month on Basic, 200 on Pro
Options, signature and deposit
She picks the shutters and the door, signs, and pays for the paint
Put the siding in as required, the trim as recommended, and the shutters and front door as options she ticks. The total follows her picks and locks when she signs. She signs by drawing or typing her name, on your phone in her living room or from the link that evening, and pays the deposit on the same page, a fixed amount or a percentage, through your Stripe, Square or PayPal account. You're told when she opens it and when she accepts.
- Siding required, trim recommended
- Black shutters and a red door as options
- Signed on your phone before you leave
- $2,500 deposit for paint at signing
- A push the moment she accepts
Colors on file
The colors she signed for stay on her record
Write the colors and sheens into her notes the day she picks them, so the touch-up two years from now starts with the right can. Her record holds every estimate, job and invoice you've done for her. When she texts to change the trim color, the message sits in her thread next to the estimate, and the added work goes on its own estimate she signs, or onto the final invoice.
- Siding color and sheen
- Trim and door colors
- Where the touch-up quarts are stored
- A color change asked by text, kept in her thread
- Rooms done and the year they were painted
Balance at the final walk
Bill the balance at the final walk, with the deposit already off
At the final walkthrough, convert the accepted estimate to an invoice. Every line is already filled in and the $2,500 deposit is already taken off; anything added on the job goes on as one more line. Text it before you load the drop cloths and she pays the $6,135 balance by card, ACH or PayPal from the link. A check gets recorded by hand, and a paid invoice can email her a review request.
- $8,635 job, $2,500 deposit already off
- $6,135 balance paid from the text
- One more line for work added on the job
- Check recorded by hand
- Review request emailed when it's paid
Crew hours
Your painters clock in on their phones, and Friday's hours add up
Invite each painter by email and they get their own login, set to see only the jobs they're on, with the address and your notes. Put the crew on each day of the job and each one gets an email. They tap Clock In and Clock Out, a missed clock-out gets fixed on the web, and the timesheet report totals each painter's hours for the week. Hours aren't tied to a job, and there's no payroll built in.
- Two painters on the 4-day exterior
- Only their own jobs on their phones
- A missed clock-out fixed on the web
- Hours per painter, emailed as a CSV
- Deactivate a painter who leaves, keep the history
