They enter their details, describe the job and pick from open times inside your hours. Times already booked are never offered, and the soonest is at least 12 hours out. No account or password.
You confirm it in BestMate

Online Booking and Requests questions
Is the time confirmed as soon as the customer books?
It comes in as a request with their time on it, and that time is held so the page won't offer it to anyone else. You get an email (there's no push alert for booking page requests), and you confirm by turning the request into a booking. You can send the customer a confirmation by text and email when you do.
Can I take a deposit from a booking?
Turn the request into an estimate with a deposit on it. The customer signs and pays the deposit from the link through your Stripe, Square or PayPal account, and it comes off the final invoice.
Do I need a website?
No. Every business gets its own website the day it signs up, in your colors with your services, photos and hours, and the booking page sits on it. Share the link on your Google profile, social pages and texts, or add it as a button on the website you already have.
Can I see my jobs in Google Calendar?
Yes. Subscribe to your BestMate calendar from Google, Apple or Outlook, and your jobs and bookings show up right next to your personal events, on your phone and your computer.
Do customers need an account, and can they upload photos?
No account or password. They enter their name, contact details and address, describe the job in their own words and pick a time. The standard form doesn't take photos, so if you need a picture, text them from BestMate after the request comes in.
