Copy your private calendar link from BestMate and subscribe to it in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook or Yahoo. Your BestMate schedule then shows up next to your personal events.
Connect your payment account
Connect Stripe, Square or PayPal once, and every invoice and estimate you send gets a pay button. The money goes into that account.
Add Zapier for everything else
Connect BestMate on zapier.com. Zapier hears when a new request, booking, customer, invoice or estimate is created, and can create requests or bookings in BestMate from your other apps.
Your jobs, next to the school run
Subscribe once and every booking in BestMate shows up in the calendar you already check on your phone, beside the dentist and your kid's practice, so you stop saying yes to a Tuesday that's already gone. Tap a job and the customer's phone number and address are right there in the notes. The link covers the last 30 days and the next year, so the job you booked for spring is already on it.
The website lead, already a request
Connect your website form or an ad lead form to BestMate through Zapier. Each new entry becomes a request with the customer's name, contact details and what they wrote, and anyone new is added as a lead. You get the same request email you'd get from your booking page, and so does the customer. Nobody retypes a lead from an inbox at 9pm.
Keep the card account you already have
Already take cards through Stripe, Square or PayPal? Connect that account and every invoice and estimate gets a pay button. Your rate stays what your provider charges you, the money goes straight to you, and BestMate adds no fee of its own. When the customer pays, the invoice shows it.
New work in BestMate can update your other tools
Through Zapier, a new request, booking, customer, invoice or estimate in BestMate can kick off something elsewhere: a row in your job spreadsheet, a message in your crew chat, a contact in another app. BestMate passes new items to Zapier every few minutes, not the second they're made.

Can I see my jobs in Google Calendar?
Yes. Subscribe to your BestMate calendar from Google, Apple or Outlook, and your jobs and bookings show up right next to your personal events, on your phone and your computer.
How fast do changes show up in my calendar?
That depends on the calendar app, not BestMate. Google refreshes subscribed calendars on its own schedule, often every 12 to 24 hours, so a job you booked this morning may not be there until tomorrow. Apple Calendar checks far more often, about every 15 minutes to an hour. For today's schedule, BestMate itself is always current.
Can I add the calendar from my phone?
On an iPhone, tap Subscribe in Apple Calendar from Integrations and you're done. For Google there's a button that opens Google Calendar to confirm. Google's phone app can't add a calendar from a link, so if the button doesn't work, paste the link once at calendar.google.com on a computer, and it then shows on your phone too. Outlook and Yahoo take the same link.
What does BestMate do with Zapier?
Five triggers: a new request, booking, customer, invoice or estimate in BestMate. One action: create a request or booking in BestMate from another app, adding the customer if they're new. That covers sending website and ad form leads in, and sending new work out to a spreadsheet, a chat or another app. There are no triggers for an invoice being sent or an estimate being accepted.
Is Zapier instant?
Close, not instant. BestMate checks for new items every few minutes and hands them to Zapier, so a new booking reaches your spreadsheet a few minutes after you make it.
Which plan includes Zapier, and does Zapier cost extra?
Zapier is included on the Basic and Pro plans. Zapier is a separate service with its own plans, including a free one that covers simple two-step Zaps like form to request. Online payments through Stripe, Square or PayPal are included on every plan.
Do online payments cost extra?
Not from BestMate. Your provider, whether that's Stripe, Square or PayPal, charges its usual processing fee, and payouts go straight from the provider to you. If you already have an account, your rate stays the same.
