Junk removal software for same-day calls and truck-load prices

Answer the "can you come today" call while you're carrying a sofa, quote a range from the photos she texts, and put the load on an estimate at your own 1/8-to-full prices, with mattresses, tires and the fridge on their own lines. She signs on your phone before you lift anything, and pays from a text before the truck pulls away.

The phone rings while you're carrying a sleeper sofa down the stairs

Saturday at 10:30 someone wants a garage cleared today, and both your hands are under a sofa on a basement stair. By the time you call back, she's booked whoever picked up. The next customer texts four photos to your personal cell, you guess a quarter load and text back a number. On site it's closer to 3/8, there's a fridge she didn't mention and four tires behind the shelving, and the price turns into a conversation in the driveway. She says she'll pay you later. On Tuesday you're pulling landfill tickets out of the door pocket, trying to work out what September made.

Same-day calls

Most people who need junk gone today call until somebody answers

On the Pro plan, the AI Receptionist answers on its own US number while you're loading. It gives the load prices you've set, a quarter truckload or a half, and never makes one up. When a caller wants someone out today, it takes the address, what's going and their preferred 2-hour window, and leaves you a booking request to confirm. It doesn't promise the time and doesn't see your calendar, so you decide whether 3 to 5 fits. Each call lands with a summary and the written transcript, and new callers are already in your leads.

  • Garage cleanout, prefers today 3 PM to 5 PM
  • Quarter and half truckload prices, from your services
  • A request you confirm, never a booked job
  • Saturday mornings, evenings and Sunday calls
  • 500 minutes a month on Pro

Photo quotes

She texts the garage. You text back a range and a time.

Text her from her record, "send me a few photos of what's going", and the photos she sends back land in the same thread, saved with the conversation, on your phone and the web. Look at them, answer with a range from your own load prices and the per-item charges, and say the exact price comes on site before anything is loaded. You get a push when she replies. Your personal cell stays out of it, because texts go from a shared BestMate number, on paid plans. BestMate doesn't look at the photo for you: the range is your call.

  • "Send me a few photos" from her record
  • Three photos back, saved with the thread
  • 1/4 to 3/8 load: $269 to $349, plus the extras
  • "I can be there today between 1 and 3"
  • A push the minute she answers

Price before you load

Your load ladder on the estimate, signed before anything goes in the truck

Put your load sizes on your price list once, from the 1/8 minimum to a full truck, with mattresses, tires and refrigerant removal as their own items. On site, pick the load you see, add the extras with a quantity, and the total is there before you lift anything. Hand her your phone and she signs on the screen, or send it by text if she's at work. The four tires she forgot are a line, not an argument. When the truck is loaded, convert it and the invoice opens with every line already filled in.

  • 3/8 truckload: $349
  • Mattress and box spring, 2 at $30
  • Refrigerator, refrigerant removal: $50
  • Passenger tires, 4 at $20
  • Signed on your phone in her garage

Paid before you pull away

Paid from a text before the tailgate's up

Turn the signed estimate into the invoice with the load and the extras already on it, and text her the link from the driveway. She pays by card, ACH or PayPal through your own Stripe, Square or PayPal account, the invoice marks itself paid, and BestMate adds no fee of its own. You get a "Payment received" email before you're on the next street. There's no card reader or tap to pay: she pays on her phone. Cash or a check gets recorded by hand, and property managers who pay later get one email reminder on the due date.

  • Invoice #2214: $539, every line from the estimate
  • Sent by text at 2:16, paid at 2:19
  • Card, ACH or PayPal, no BestMate fee
  • Cash on the tailgate, recorded by hand
  • Property managers: one reminder on the due date

Dump tickets

Snap the scale ticket at the landfill. See what September made.

Photograph each landfill or transfer station ticket as you pull off the scale and log it with the amount. There's no Disposal category among the 15, so tickets go under Other and diesel under Fuel and Mileage, and your helper can log the dump run himself. The expense report totals spending by category for any dates, and profit and loss puts it against what you invoiced. It's by the month, not by the load: a ticket isn't tied to the jobs that filled the truck.

  • Franklin County landfill, 2.36 tons: $93.81
  • Diesel for the box truck, under Fuel and Mileage
  • Your helper logs his own dump run
  • The report emailed to your accountant as a CSV
  • September's net profit, from profit and loss
